How it started
South Haven Michigan Properties was established in 2010 with the rental of the personal vacation property of two of our managing partners. Although many property managers existed in the area, none provided the level of service that the owners wanted to provide to their guests. As our property ownership expanded, so did the need for a collaborated approach to build a better model for vacation property management. We built a unique alternative to other management companies in the South Haven area.

Our pathway includes attention to detail, honest and open communication, ultimate in customer service skills, simplification of fees, pride in quality services and maintenance of the properties.

Your team
Kathleen Benn, is an Independent Broker in Michigan and Managing Member of two businesses, including South Haven MI Properties, LLC and a real estate investment firm, KDAB, LLC. After retiring from a successful career in community banking, she believed there was a unique opportunity to in South Haven to provide families a special time to share an uncomplicated vacation experience while providing property owners significant improvement in their investment returns.
Mary Jo Brown, Manager of South Haven MI Properties, is a consultant and owner of Alliance Resources, a human resource consulting firm, a wine consultant and longtime entrepreneur. She has a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Spring Arbor University and an associate degree in business administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
